However, in loo of blogging I've actually been traveling, eating copious amounts of food, gaining inspiration for the blog and enjoying some family time.
I still vividly remember the day I moved to Padova. It was smack bang in the middle of summer in 2014 and the city was a ghost town. I remember thinking to myself that we had made a huge mistake and that we needed to get our butts back on a plane to England asap.
Venice via gondola.I think I get asked this question about 10 times a week. First comes the typical question of "Where do you come from?". And then almost instantly after I say Australia, the next question is always "You come from Australia? Wow, why do you live in Italy then?".
How could I start a travel blog without dedicating my first post to the amazing city in which I get to call home — Padova. Situated in the heart of northern Italy and only a stone’s throw away from Venice, Padova is not nearly as celebrated as it should be but definitely deserves recognition.
