These last couple of days I’ve found myself spending an unhealthy amount of time scrolling through Airbnb. Originally, I had been looking for a weekend escape for next week but really I was just looking at amazing homes out of my price range and dreaming about what it would be like to stay or live there.
That’s when I thought, why not put this procrastination to good use and write an actual blog post about some of the amazing Airbnb listings Italy has to offer? And, so that is what I shall do.
Here are some of the amazing homes I’ve found in Italy. Some I’ve stayed at and other’s I can only dream of staying at. Enjoy!
Price: €112 per night
What I love: If you know me well, then you would know it is my dream to have a house full of books. So the wall of books was my weakness!
Where: Asti, Piedmont
Price: €500 per night
What I love: The pool, the views, the decor, the fireplace. Do I really need to say more? Perfect for a bigger group or family.
Where: Polignano Al Mare, Puglia
Price: €245 per night
What I love: The stunning pool area and the design of the house.
Where: Asti, Piedmont
Price: €200 per night
Accommodates: 3 to 4
What I love: Other than the fact that you’re sleeping in a medieval tower? I adore the high ceilings and book shelf on the second level.
Where: Geggiano, Chianti, Tuscany
Price: €350 per night
What I love: The exposed brick and light in the villa is stunning. The grounds and the outdoor pool are also pretty amazing.
Where: Civita, Lazio
Price: €311 per night
What I love: Honestly, I have no words for this property. You need to have a look for yourself! It lis the definition of Italian wealth, history and food. Private chefs, maids and drivers, amazing views and garden and a wine cellar to name a few of its features.
Where: Modica, Sicily
Price: €210 per night
What I love: The private garden and jacuzzi and apparently soon to be plunge pool too.
Where: Passignano sul Trasimeno, Tuscany
What I love: Literally stay in a real life Italian castle! Perfect for a small intimate Tuscan wedding or large family holiday.
Where: Lucca, Tuscany
What I love: Nothing fancy or overly expensive, but super quaint, open apartment with amazing views of Lucca.
Where: Murano, Venice
What I love: The fact that you can escape the crowds on Murano as opposed to the main island of Venice. Also the private rooftop terrace is to die for!
Where: Bolzano, Dolomites
What I love: The super modern design and decor as well as the surroundings. Vineyards, the Dolomites and the pool.
Where: Florence, Tuscany
What I love: This treehouse is a part of a larger complex in the Tuscan hills, half an hour from Florence. Whilst it’s small you have free reign over the rest of the properties features as well such as pool, bbq facilities and garden.
